Carole Serif

A calm serif with edgy details and for texts in small and medium sizes.

Being my very first real approach to type design, the first version of Carole started as a bachelor thesis on FH Joanneum Graz with supervision of DI Catherine Rollier.

It now has 4 cuts and 2 styles. Carole Serif serves as the foundation for Carole Sans. Both cuts are part of the typeface collection of Austrian type designers in the book “Subtext: Typedesign” which was released by Niggli in 2017.
